Spring Break 2013

Teachers were looked at with respect and admired. Dealing with youth and accomplishing student learning was considered a worthy task. Teachers accomplished the education of doctors, lawyers, scientists, university professors, candidates for government agencies and athleletes. So the question is, what happened to teachers? They are no longer respected, the teaching is poor, graduation rates are low, students struggle to learn, vacation breaks are coveted like gold, percent rate of good teachers has declined, students have no manners and need remedial classes to accomplish the results of which decades ago were produced without problems. So where is the problem with education today? Teachers have given up under pressure to produce intellingent and intellectual individuals, well, sorry, can't do. People are not the same from years ago, TV, entertainment industry, athletics, music, films, art, science, technology and sociology are not the same as half a century ago, so why governments and parents expect students and teachers to be the same?
